Role

Led team of Web Content, Web Marketing, eCRM and Market Research professionals who created high-quality, efficient and effective web content, and systems and processes to measure the performance of each piece of content daily and then adjust the content as appropriate. Also managed the Product Management and Development team.

Major Achievements

  • Recruited and blended a successful and respected team of professionals including Australian expatriates and US residents.
  • Successfully implemented a customised web ad serving package capable of serving 300 impressions per second to 150,000 web users in 30 or more customer segments in real time. Packages reviewed included those from DoubleClick, L90 and Engage.
  • Designed and documented web content creation and management processes that allowed for daily content updates.
  • Designed a detailed reporting suite for the performance measurement of web content at the individual image and link level. Also designed related data management processes to cope with hundreds of gigabytes of data.
  • Oversaw the creation of more than 100 pieces of web content.
  • Led AT&T WorldNet in defining the communications strategy for their subscribers who were to participate in a trial of Sharinga products.
  • Acted as relationship manager for the AT&T WorldNet account during the trial implementation. Negotiated contractual changes with the AT&T relationship manager.
  • Led a variety of analyses of web users including customer satisfaction, web navigation and loyalty surveys.
  • Led the team documenting the current product set and defining the next version.
  • Led the team collating and having valued the inventory of intellectual assets.
  • Presented to senior executives from a wide range of potential clients both in Australia and in the US, including AT&T WorldNet, Global Crossing, Telecom NZ, Telstra, Pacific Online, Tiscali.
